Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
(Php 4:4)
It was about 10pm, just 3hours after my last phone conversation with him, when I was told that my cousin had been involved in a Road Traffic Accident and died on the spot. It came as a big blow to me, I think I blacked out for a while, I could not believe it. I mean come on, this is the guy I had talked to more than 10 times that day, and now they are telling me he is no more, I will not see him again. It’s been 3 weeks now, and I still have fresh memories of that day.
One major lesson I learnt out of all this is to make each day count. We do not know when our time on earth will expire. Be it by death or rapture no one knows the date and time. All we can do is to make the most of each day as it comes.
Many people like to put a suspensive condition (borrowed from Principles of Law) on their happiness or their fulfilment in life. I have heard some say that they will only be happy once they finish school or get married or get a new job or become rich. I have however come to realise that happiness is a choice. Joy is a fruit of the recreated human spirit (Ref Galatians 5:22) and For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Rom 14:17) Happiness is at your disposal, it is up to you to embrace it.
Have you been sitting on a business idea for a while now? Remember entrepreneurship is about meeting needs so while you are sitting on that idea someone is going without what you have to offer. Start small, if its resources you require start with what you have. Others might notice how bright your idea is and chip in with assistance and soon enough your business will grow.
I urge you to make every moment count from today onwards. Be productive; help someone, smile and most of all Give your life to Christ.
Stay Blessed
